Copyright protects the author and the creator of books, music, and articles from those who would copy or reproduce their intellectual or creative works without payment and permission.
If you are a student, your responsibilities are described in the Student Code of Conduct (Rules and Regulations, Section A: Honesty and Integrity, Item #3: Copyright Infringement Policy) and the guidelines in the Franklin Style Manual.
